This gentle yoga class gives you an opportunity to release tension in the mind and body by slowing down. We begin with some mindful movement and breath work to allow us to begin releasing stuck energy, then settle into our restorative/yin practice.  Props such as blankets and bolster cushions are used to support your body allowing you to completely relax and let the tension melt. You also have the option to use fewer props to allow for a deeper stretch.

Practicing mindful breathing techniques, holding poses longer (3-7min), combined with some guided mediation can help soothe our frazzled nervous system. By calming our minds we allow our body to rest and renew as well. We wrap up class with a sweet Savasana (final relaxation pose). This often includes a guided meditation such as Yoga Nidra (sleep yoga) or sound healing. 

We have all the props needed for your practice. For extra comfort some like to bring a pair of cozy socks or a weighted eye pillow.
